Dr Shweta Misra is a registered Clinical Psychologist, with over 15 years’ experience. Shweta holds a doctorate and a MPhil degree in Clinical Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences in India. Shweta is a Registered Clinical Psychologist with the Rehabilitation Council of India and is also a member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists.
Shweta is passionate about clinical research and is a well-known published researcher in her field, with over 11 scientific publications in national, regional and international journals and conferences. She also contributes regularly on mental health issues in newspapers such as Gulf News, Khaleej times and The National.
Shweta brings with her a high level of expertise in the area of Psycho-Diagnostic assessment (ADHD assessment) and Psychotherapy, including individual, marital (Gottman method) and family therapy. Shweta is the Clinic’s Lead Clinical Assessment Advisor – providing informed, specialist insight to our assessment protocols and methodology. Moreover, she is trained in CBT focused trauma therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavior therapy for eating disorders.
Shweta creates a safe and trusting space for her therapy sessions, where clients will gain understanding and insight into how experiences have affected their lives. She uses a collaborative approach to therapy, supporting clients to identify and address any issues that may have adversely affected them, enabling people to move forward in a positive and fulfilling way.
