Aspris' legacy

Aspris is extremely well placed to bring reputable, safe and pioneering mental health treatment to the UAE and our wellbeing centres in Dubai and Abu Dhabi give us an opportunity for us to offer the same exceptional level of support to you, as it does for those in the UK.

We are honoured to now be serving this select part of the world. We recognise that there can be social stigmas associated with mental health across all cultures and countries and we are here to break those barriers down.

We can trace our heritage back to the founding of the Priory Hospital Roehampton in the year 1872. Set within a striking grade II listed building and close to London’s largest Royal parks, Roehampton is Priory’s most well-known hospital, which treats a wide range of mental health conditions.

Since then, Priory has built a fantastic name for itself which is recognised within the healthcare sector. It has achieved this by providing the appropriate support and treatment for those in need of mental health care.

Moving forward, we continue to provide world-class treatment with hundreds of years of experience, with our new name Aspris.

Our purpose and behaviours

The behaviours we aspire to are:

Aspirational – we want everyone to reach their full potential. Obstacles in life can be difficult to overcome, but working together, we can reach our aspirations.

Positive – The name Aspris is inspired by a Latin phrase: ‘Ad astra per aspera’, which means ‘through hardship to the stars’. We aim to make a positive difference to the lives of everyone we work with.

Fun & Friendly – Our colleagues provide a warm, friendly welcome to our Wellbeing Centres and strive to achieve a relaxed environment for all visitors.

Courageous – We help our colleagues and people we support to show courage through their daily actions and greater goals.

Innovative – We encourage growth and development through innovative thinking to achieve a shared goal.
