Professional Experience

Dr Bhuvaneswari is Specialist Psychiatrist with more than 8 years of experience in general psychiatry with special training in child and adolescent psychiatry. After completing her MD in psychiatry from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India, she trained in child and adolescent psychiatry for an additional 3 years before moving to the UAE. Her special interests include developmental delays, neurodevelopmental conditions (autism and ADHD), behavioural challenges and emotional problems in children. Dr Bhuvaneswari also helps teenage children with anger issues, stress management, anxiety, and depressive disorders. She uses a holistic approach in her clinical practice by actively working with the parents and any relevant members of the family throughout the process. Dr Bhuvaneswari is an ADOS-2 trained and certified in the standardized diagnostic tool for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Her other area of special interest includes ADHD in children and adults. She is also currently pursuing her PG diploma in nutritional psychiatry. This will further enrich her knowledge and skills and bring an additional dimension to her exceptional clinical practice.
