Parents can often feel isolated and frustrated that the ‘standard advice’ does not seem to work for them. Our training courses offer a rolling programme of support and advice, designed to develop parents and carers deeper understanding of children with SEN/ autism unique needs and learn ways to help support their development.
We have discovered that many parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities find our workshops and support programmes extremely helpful. We offer advice and guidance on strategies and approaches to working with children and provide training on targeted intervention.
Our training programmes support improved recognition and understanding of a range of behaviours, we offer guidance and advice on how to build confidence, and how to encourage parental interaction and communication with your child.
Out parenting support workshops help parents understand the key milestones in child development and deal with everyday parenting issues. They provide a better understanding of a child and his/her process of development and condition, which in turn helps parents make the right decisions.
Our parent support workshops provide parents with topics to gain some insights and fresh perspectives, and support parents to make subtle changes in their day-to-day interactions with their child.
