Prior to joining the Priory Group in 2001, Stuart held various clinical and nursing leadership positions in the NHS UK. At Priory, Stuart worked in governance and hospital management until 2007 when he joined the group’s central quality and compliance team.

Since then, Stuart’s primary focus has been on ensuring that the people who use our services receive the highest quality of care and education possible, meeting and exceeding all regulatory requirements. Stuart was appointed Director of Compliance UK in 2018, managing a team of professionals and internal inspectors, who provide assurance to the board that safety, quality and compliance is at the heart of everything they do. Stuart joined the team in the Middle East in January 2022 to support the growth and development of our services. Outside of work Stuart plays the guitar (badly).
