Professional Experience
Joy has extensive experience supporting children and families facing complex challenges such as trauma, displacement, family separation, maltreatment, and hospitalization. She has worked with leading child protection organizations including Save the Children and Himaya in Lebanon and served as a Mental Health Consultant with UNICEF in collaboration with The Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood in the UAE. In this role, she provided mental health training for educators, ministries, and NGOs.
Joy has also held academic roles, including lecturing in Developmental Psychology at Université Saint-Joseph and leading the Children & Adolescent Mental Health Diploma program in the MENA region.
